On March 9, 2010, Lifeline, UBC's pro-life club, set up the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) on campus. Mob rule quickly took over as the pro-abortion students obscured the display while the police watched on the sidelines. On October 4, 2010, peaceful pro-life students at Carleton University attempted to set up the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP). The university censored them and had Ottawa police arrest them.
