Presenting: "Choice" Chain Digest

This is the second post in what will hopefully be a weekly or bi-weekly endeavour called “Choice” Chain Digest. “Choice” Chain, as most of you will already know, is pro-life street activists debating abortion while using signs depicting the abortion procedure. While CCBR does publish cogent defences of our strategy, we also recognize that the most convincing defence of our strategy is the fact that we get results both consistently and in volume. On “Choice” Chain Digest we hope to keep people apprised of our successes, so that they can be both encouraged and inspired to join with us to EndtheKilling!

Tuesday, September 3:

Today, we held “Choice” Chain outside of Father Lacombe Catholic High School. As seems to be consistent behaviour at many Catholic high schools, the administration actively tried to force students to stay away from our message. What are they so afraid of?

We at CCBR believe that the reason abortion is continuing is because it is hidden. Case in point: Father Lacombe. How can we end the injustice, if we refuse to even face the injustice? How can we inspire our young to change the world if we are too comfortable in our own apathy?

Why is principal Kate Miller taking pro-life brochures away from students as they file into school after lunch?

Is she afraid that she might actually have to talk about abortion in a Catholic high school?

Fortunately, young people continue to be fascinated by and receptive to our message. They are old enough to have an abortion, so they are old enough to see an abortion.
