The South African Experience: Post #1

Dear friends and supporters of CCBR. My name is Francisco Gomez and I am a new staff and “Choice” Chain coordinator of CCBR.

But before I begin my work at the Canadian office, I will be taking part of a 3-month pro-life mission in South Africa with the objective to share CCBR’s knowledge, vision, and approach with the African people. Stephanie Gray, executive director of the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform (CCBR) says the site will get people talking about abortion again.

We just received this encouraging e-mail from Show the Truth, a pro-life group in Eastern Canada that displays graphic abortion images like we do:

"I was talking to a neighbour during my garage sale on Saturday who recently moved close to me.
She said she saw the Show the Truth signs when they were here 10 years ago on King and Weber St. N.

CBR's UK office received this encouraging message:

On our prayer vigil today at Wiston's Abortuary we were able to engage a young couple in conversation. The girl was 9 weeks pregnant and was booked in to have a suction Aspiration Abortion. Neither of them had told their parents.

CALGARY: Those coming to enjoy sights during the Calgary Stampede may see something not so enjoyable: pictures of aborted fetuses. Starting today and for each day of the Stampede, young staffers from the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform (CCBR) will be holding graphic signs of aborted fetuses and engaging visitors on the subject of abortion.

National pro-life group expands its graphic campaign, re-igniting Canada’s abortion debate

CALGARY, AB—On June 7, the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform (CCBR) will be driving home its message—literally. Starting Monday, CCBR will cruise Southern Alberta highways and community streets with an 11-meter long box-bodied truck with billboards showing aborted human beings. Their week-long tour is called the "Reproductive 'Choice' Campaign." This marks the first time that Canadians outside of Calgary will be exposed to the project.
