Thomas

Thomas serves as the Western Catholic Church Outreach Coordinator for CCBR. He works with the clergy and lay-faithful in parishes and lay associations all across Alberta and Saskatchewan to strengthen the pro-life outreach of the Catholic Church. Concretely, this means building relationships with Catholics and facilitating their participation in workshops on CCBR’s methods and apologetics as well as recruiting and mobilizing them for activism. Thomas also leads and participates in activism.

 

Thomas got involved with CCBR at the end of January 2023 by taking an apologetics workshop. After being stunned by the observance of minds being changed during his first time out door-knocking, Thomas decided to jump on board as a weekly volunteer for about 5 months. This culminated in his decision to participate in the 2-month Summer Internship where he did activism full-time–5 days a week, 8 hours a day. After being entrenched in activism, Thomas sensed God was calling him to do more for the pro-life movement and he is happy and blessed to be a full-time staff member of CCBR.

 

Thomas has an honours degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary and prior to CCBR worked as a fundraiser for Pro-life Alberta. Thomas also has a background in musical theatre, having served as a performer for Jubilations Dinner Theatre for about a year and a half.
