Amy

Amy is CCBR’s Calgary Internship Coordinator. Throughout the summer internships, she will be leading and mentoring the interns in activism as well as doing a lot of recruitment and prep for future internships during the winter months. Amy is excited to be a part of providing interns with an experience that she herself was able to have!                                                     

Amy’s family has been involved with CCBR for many years, so when she decided to do the four-month summer internship in Calgary with CCBR, it was a natural response to a very real injustice her family had taught her about. After completing two of the four months of the internship, she became convicted that she needed to do more in this movement. She saw how effective the training and skills she had learned during the internship had been in changing minds on abortion. She then applied to work on staff with CCBR going forward.
