To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Stephanie Gray as an excellent speaker in the area of pro-life apologetics. The organization, Canadian Nurses For Life, had the honour of having Stephanie speak at our July 2011 conference, titled “Code Blue: Igniting the Heart of Pro-Life Nursing”, which took place at Rosemary Heights in Surrey, BC.
A passionate and knowledgeable speaker, Stephanie was able to provide conference delegates with an array of information in the realms of science, morality, history, and practical example, to give nurses a solid grounding for conscience formation and ethical decision-making. Carefully chosen ways of delivering her arguments aided and abetted our desire for more confidence in our nursing roles. Stephanie’s ability to calmly yet powerfully provide answers to many of our questions was key in showing us that it is possible to effectively defend life using the tools that are available on the CCBR web site.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Stephanie’s skill in evoking human sensibility on the deepest level, is what sets her apart from the average public speaker. To move people’s hearts is the first step in getting someone to look beyond the surface of terms such as “pro-life” or “abortion”, and Stephanie was certainly able to do this at our conference, to a memorable degree.
Nursing is an inherently pro-life profession. However, in today’s world of medicine and health care, nurses often encounter ethical life issues in our daily work. Our conference was much needed to explore and share ways of dealing with these issues. I wholeheartedly recommend Stephanie Gray as a speaker and panelist for any conference dealing with life issues, and particularly those for health care professionals.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information and endorsement.
Sincerely,
Rachelle Yong, on behalf of Canadian Nurses For Life
