Although this is a bit late in coming, I do wish to express my gratitude for your visit to the seminarians at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Seminary in Ottawa on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Your presentation was very thought provoking for our men. They know in their minds and their hearts the message of the Gospel; few have had any direct experience of abortion in their lives. I am sure that not only the information you provided, but the manner in which it was delivered and the lessons learned in direct, charitable and reasonable debate, will assist our men now in their present discernment, and in the future as priestly ministers in the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canada and the USA. I was particularly impressed with the question period that followed your presentation. The men were very much engaged in conversation with you, and they posed some very challenging questions. Your gift of communication and charity shone through it all. And they were further convicted on being active participants in the building up of the Culture of Life.
