Dear Ms. Gray:

Saint Mary School is most grateful for your efforts to teach young people that human life is an inviolable gift that begins at fertilization and that abortion should be unthinkable. Your approach to the subject is highly accessible to students. Your down-to-earth diction and use of analogies allowed students to identify with fundamental scientific and philosophical standpoints.

In these two days since your presentation on Tuesday, November 1st, many of the 200 students (ages 12 to 17) and most of the 15 teachers, who were captivated by your conference, have commented about the moral imperative to defend the unborn child from abortion. They were deeply impressed by the simple truth that life begins at fertilization and horrified by the cruelty of abortion. Most of our students—and even the faculty—suspected the fundamental truth about the beginning of human life, but they needed to be reminded and motivated.

Ms. Gray, your presentation was informative and inspirational. Abortion is unthinkable, and it is our responsibility to defend those who depend on us most. We give thanks to the Lord for you and for your work.

Yours truly,
David Reynolds, M.Ed.
