TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I can highly recommend Jose (Jojo) Ruba, speaker for the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical
Reform (CCBR), to any group that wants a highly motivated speaker on the topic of abortion.
While I am fully cognizant of the activities of the CCBR, which by some people, may be viewed as
being rather controversial, or if you wish in “your face”.
Surrey-Delta Pro-Life hosted Mr. Ruba to speak to a group of young Christians, and not having
heard any of his talks or seen his presentation I was not prepared for the profound compassion
that Jojo displayed in his talk. The love and compassion Jojo has for the unborn child in danger of
losing his/her life extents to the mother as well.
The powerful presentation including the graphic act of abortion, clearly demonstrates to the
audience exactly what an abortion is. The “A word” is no longer just a word that is used by so
many without realizing how brutally the unborn child loses his/her life.
The comparision to the slave trade, secregation and the holocaust puts the act of the abortion in
the same abhorrent category; the total denying of the dignity and recognition of personhood.
On behalf of Surrey-Delta Pro-Life I wish Jojo Ruba endless opportunities to speak not only to
young people, but also to the older generation. His skilled debating on all life issues is a direction
towards a Culture of Life.
