Re: Stephanie Gray - Pro Life Presentation
Thursday February 26th Ms. Stephanie Gray spoke to our high school students gathered in our gym. The focus of her presentation was to understand the nature of abortion and how it relates to our stated position on the sanctity of human life. She made it clear as to how we can effectively defend our pro life position as Catholics and Christians.
Stephanie's presentation held the attention of the whole school and gave rise to many thoughtful, animated questions. Through use of visual images, scripture and church teaching she carefully outlined the pro life position in order that we might also use it to support life.
It is an understatement that students and staff are positively touched by the experience. Stephanie and her partner stayed with us throughout the day visiting interested calsses. This presentation was a vivid and relevant reminder of the gift of life that is too often taken foregranted. Stephanie's presentation is extremely valuable in a world that has become incredibly self centered. I heartily recommend Stephanie's presentation to all high school audiences.
