I'm writing to commend Jojo Ruba to you as an excellent speaker on the topics of Pro-Life and Abortion. Recently we had Jojo here to address our teens and young adults on these subjects. I was impressed that I was able to reach Jojo before hand to discuss the nature of this presentation. He answered all my initial questions and even provided me with a link to the short video clip he planned to use while with us. He explained how and why he uses the video. After watching it for myself I was convinced that it was an important tool for raising awareness in a discussion where there is much ignorance and assumption.
I particularly appreciated the sensitivity Jojo displayed as he moved through the aspects of the presentation. He spoke with passion and clarity, giving testimony as to why he feels called to be a pro-life advocate. This approach lets the audience deal with the material without feeling provoked or offended. We were all better informed and, more importantly, inspired to think carefully about our response to the issues presented.
Jojo's experience in youth ministry helps him relate very well to church audiences. He speaks as to bring honour Jesus Christ and in agreement with the Word of God. He is calling the church to remember her duty to care for the marginalized by speaking up and standing up for the protection of the unborn.
