Abortion is often viewed as a clinical procedure, but for the Grade 9 students at Calgary Christian School, the tragic reality of abortion was brought to light through an articulate and passionate presentation by Stephanie Gray of the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform. This powerful presentation invited young people to see the wonder and sanctity of life, confronted them with the magnitude of abortion in Canada, and challenged them respond to the issue. We, who live in a media world saturated with image of gratuitous violence and casual death, so easily become calloused for life and death issues. This prolife presentation breaks through the layers of misunderstanding and pricks the heart and the conscience. This is the third year Stephanie Gray has spoken to our classes and we would highly recomment her to speak to other student groups.
