On behalf of the High River Pro-Life Association, ljoin many in the earnest endorsement of Jose {Jojo)
Ruba and his associates at the Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform (CCBR). The formal
presentations, publications, and street outreach projects spearheaded by CCBR to challenge society
about the injustice of abortion are educational, inspiring, and many times life-changing.
Jojo is a co-founder of CCBR and an experienced public speaker. ln addition to being incredibly wellversed
in the issues and viewpoints of the abortion debate, Jojo combines professional conduct with
genuine compassion in his interaction with both individuals and groups. Considering the controversy
and sensitivity that surround the discussion of abortion, Jojo remains notably collected and poised in
a variety of circumstances. Many have witnessed his calm, intelligent, and articulate responses to
hostile antagonists. Jojo has a remarkable ability to walk people through a process of logical debate
toward a clear and unmistakable view of the truth.
ln 2010, Jojo was engaged by the High River Pro-Life Association as the keynote speaker at a widely
publicized presentation on the human rights of the unborn. ln making a strong case for social reform,
Jojo clearly demonstrated how abortion is parallelto historicalgenocides, including the Holocaust.
Jojo surpassed his responsibilities as a speaker and was accommodating and approachable. Our
organization counts it a privilege to be associated with Jojo in this shared battle for the lives of the
unborn.
Jojo faces many obstacles when defending life, but by his knowledge, passion, and perseverance he
succeeds in demonstrating what it means to give one's life for a cause. lf you have not yet observed
one of Jojo's presentations or participated in a street outreach event, I encourage you to take this
opportunity to do so and thereby support CCBR's visionary EndtheKilling program. ln doing so, you
will find a new hope in the fight for a culture of life and become better equipped for the personal
battles that await you.
